All the info has gone to the Andrews County News, Channel 6 and KACT. I'll get copy sent to the Odessa American and Midland Telegraph(?) tomorrow. Anywhere else?? There's a show on channel 7 in the morning, if someone wants to try and get on that. It's almost here!!!

New email address for Andrews Art Guild!!

Our new email address for the guild is:

andrewsartguild@yahoo.com

All members will get the password in an email. Invitations have been sent out to several folks so they can post on the blog. You need to answer the invitations and follow the instructions.

I'll also send you a link to blogarithm so you can get an email whenever the blog has been updated. I'll find a picture from a previous art show to put in the header, or we can take a group picture - that would be fun!!
Anyway, any ideas or suggestions would be great. I also think we should showcase a member each month, and put any awards that anyone gets in any show anywhere in the blog!!! All of this could be transferred to a webpage eventually, but I don't know how to do a webpage, blogging is my 'thing'!!!

Welcome!!!

Welcome to the new Andrews Art Guild blog!!! There will be lots of great info, links and all the happenings in art in our town and in the surrounding area. West Texas is spread out and some areas are very isolated. We artists and art supporters need to keep in touch! So, welcome to our blog! We'll link to other blogs and webpages for other guilds or associations, artists, museums, schools, and individuals and/or retailers with workshops or classes within 150 miles or so. There's LOTS going on out here, and we need to know about it. So send a response to this with your information, and we'll post a link or give you a writeup!
Haven't setup a separate email for the guild, but you can email me at:
dwheel1201@yahoo.com
Have a great week!!!!
